Donations & Contributions
The Foothills Fall Festival receives many requests for ticket donations. The festival is subsidized by sponsorships in order to make the ticket price for concerts extremely affordable compared to the value of the ticket.
The sale of the ticket makes up the remaining cost of putting on the concert events. A very limited number of tickets are made available each year for the purpose of supporting local organizations doing work to enhance the lives of people in our community. After these tickets have been allocated, no more will be available for the year. The City of Maryville Administrative office reviews all ticket donation requests and make the allocations based on the organization and the City’s policies and procedures. If your organization would like to be considered for a ticket donation, please use the following format for your request. A maximum of two general admission tickets will be given to selected organizations.
Tickets will not be available until July 20. If your event is held before this date, we will be unable to accommodate your request.
Requests for a donation must be submitted on the organization’s official letterhead stationary. Requests must be sent by fax to “Foothills Fall Festival Donations” (including address, telephone & fax) to (865) 273 - 3424. Please use the following as a checklist for our guidelines:
1. Provide a request letter from the charitable organization on official letterhead stationary. Also, if your company is organizing the fundraiser on behalf of a charitable organization, please submit two letters: one on your company letterhead and a second on the charitable corporation’s letterhead.
2. Submit request 1 month prior to fundraiser/event (but no earlier than June 20.)
3. Specify the date of the fundraiser/event.
4. Include explanation of the fundraiser/event.
5. Include a signature on each letter.
6. Include fliers or newspaper articles with requests when possible.
Please allow two weeks for a response. E-mail and phone requests will not be accepted.
